Event description | This course will provide practitioners with an introduction on how to recognise, record and refer child protection concerns. |
Training objectives | By the end of this course participants will be able to: - Recognise how their own personal knowledge and feeling may affect their approach to child abuse. - Meet their own, and their agencies legal responsibilities for safeguarding children. - Describe the 4 types of abuse. - Recognise the signs, symptoms and indicators of abuse and neglect. - Respond effectively when children want to disclose. - Record and refer child protection concerns. |
